You just solved a mystery! My slides now progress when the user hits my "Next" command button, rather than freezing if the user clicks on it too soon. Thanks!

Hello aynechab,
I think what you are seeing is the Moodle table of contents bar which probably isn't what you are looking for. I can't think of a way to have a sidebar on the sides of a scorm player unless you did some heavy customizations to the theme. If you didn't care about SCORM tracking you could embed it in a normal html page and customize the page with sidebars. What kind of information did you want to display in the sidebars?

Hi Joe,

I'm new to Moodle and I came across your website. See, we are trying to put a SCORM element into Moodle that has two sidebars (one on each side) and we were wondering, is there a way to make the sidebars of Moodle show while the SCORM is in the content part? Cause I noticed in the video you shared that there is a sidebar when Articulate was played but it looked like a sidebar that Articulate had, and not the one from Moodle itself...

This is one of the best elearning blogs ever. I really love the information you have given here, have learned a lot about moodle and the other things. I wish more people will be encouraged to make their own blogs that would offer a free training course for blogging, article writing and more latest trends online. I'll try to create mine too.

Luis,
I've been testing these plugins out and they might be what I am looking for but due to my limited knowledge of SQL I'm not sure. Do you know if I could use these plugins to create a site wide grades report. I'm hoping for something that will show grades for all users and all courses. I currently have to go into each course site to get this information and it would save me a lot of trouble if I had a site wide overall report. It sounds like this may be possible with a little knowledge of SQL and your plugins.

If you are looking to "wrap" Articulate content for Moodle take a look at JCA Solutions Simple SCORM Packager tool. It allows you to package together multiple Articulate modules (SCOS) into one course.
http://www.jcasolutions.com/ssp

Hi! I have a problem with Articulate Scorm file in Moodle. In preview Mod my lesson has not shown rightly. It shows from top and right deficient. I have changed window height and width when I add it but it doesn't fix...
Can you help me?

Hi Rory,
Thanks for commenting. It may have something to do with your file size. Is it a large file size? I did write a follow up post to this where I got a lot of great suggestions. I posted the link below. Hopefully one of those tips will help you out.

http://joedeegan.blogspot.com/2008/11/scorm-and-bandwidth-part-2.html

Glad it's back up - I hadn't heard of Moodle before visiting this blog but it looks like something worth checking out. (and what better introduction than a Youtube vid, eh?)
